Quest Industrial to Attend the International Cheese Technology Expo
Mar 15, 2014In Wisconsin, there is nothing better than cheese. For those of us in the production of the tasty good, we enjoy the technology and traditions behind the process of making it. During April 22nd-24th, 2014, many people from around the world will be attending the International Cheese Technology Expo, the nation’s largest cheese, butter and whey exposition, held at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This year, the International Cheese Technology Expo (ICTE), is expected to be the largest it has ever been, given the number of exhibitors and attendees growing each day. the ICTE sold out of exhibit space in January and the waiting list continues to grow.
Quest Industrial is proud to announce that our team will be attending and showcasing two products that can be custom designed to fit into any application. We are excited to demonstrate one of our newest and most technologically advanced products in the market, the Boxed-Bot, part of the Q-Pact Robotic Palletizer Line, as well as the unique and fast Quest Tote Loader/Collator.
The Boxed-Bot has been redesigned to be even more compact than ever before to save space and time – due to effortless and minimal installation time. Boxed-Bot is a fully functional robotic palletizer that is tailored to fit your plant. If you need stainless steel to meet sanitary conditions we can do it, if your business does not require a sanitary environment, then save money by ordering a mild steel Boxed-Bot. Our engineers have worked hard to ensure that this product can be used to its fullest potential to make you profitable. The best part about this product is the ability for any operator to design and produce exact pallet patterns quickly and easily from bags to boxes and other various product types – allowing for easy change over from product to product. Still more, training is completed in an average of 10 minutes, saving you time and money.
If you are interested in the Quest Tote Loader/Collator, which has the capacity to load a bulk container of cheese or butter in minutes, then you will want to be at the ICTE to see how this cell works! It has vision tracking and verification to create endless possibilities in product mix. It can pick and place many different sizes, shapes and textures of cheese and butter – from mozzarella to wheels of Swiss to butter, the Quest Tote Loader/ Collator can do it while matching any production schedule. To keep things cleaner, ask us about our revolutionary robotic pumpless vacuum cup system. There are no holes, no vacuum tubes and no mess – allowing for more versatility for your company.
During the International Cheese Technology Expo you will have the opportunity to hear the Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, speak along with many distinguished and knowledgeable people within the cheese industry. There will be technical seminars and keynote addresses on Wednesday and Thursday. The equipment and technology exhibits are open Wednesday and Thursday as well as the World Championship Cheese Contest Reception on Wednesday and the Champions Awards Reception and Banquet on Thursday. Look for the Quest Industrial logo at the International Cheese Technology Expo as General Sponsor and at the Champion Cheese Cooler Display. We are excited to be able to help honor those cheese makers who have work so diligently to make the best cheese in the world.
Make sure to get your bonus speakers in, while at the International Cheese Technology Expo. Our very own, Don Wickstrum, owner and President of Quest Industrial will be speaking at the ICTE on Stage A for the Ideas Showcase at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday the 23rd. Don will be speaking under the category of Innovations in Diary Plant Automation with his talk being titled, “Ready, Set, Automate! Are you Ready for Robots?” Don said that he was very excited to be speaking and will have some of the newest and freshest ideas for your dairy plant automation. After he is finished speaking, there will be five minutes for question and answer. If you have been looking for some new ideas for your plant, then you will want to be at Don’s portion of the Idea’s Showcase to learn more about robotics and the impact that it can have on your dairy plant.
