Responsibilities

Quest Industrial is currently accepting resumes for the Fabrication and Assembly Technician position. As a Fabrication and Assembly Tech you will work as part of a team to fabricate and assemble the Quest Industrial line of equipment.  Tasks completed include, but are not limited to, cutting, de-burring and welding steel, as well as, following prints to assemble. Previous experience is desired, however, Quest is willing to invest in training top-notch individuals. Candidates must be able to read fabrication and assembly prints prior to employment, as well as, safely operate mechanical tools.

A minimum Applied Science (2-year degree) is considered with emphasis in Industrial Technology, Welding, Fabrication and the alike. Employer will also accept individuals with 2 years full-time working experience in related fields. A general understanding of automation and machine shop type applications is required.

Employee should anticipate working 50+ hours per week.

Employee should anticipate the possibility of both short and long term travel.

Employee must be willing and able to fly.

Employee must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable on the Quest insurance policy.

Employee must be legally able to work within the United States.

Responsibilities

Quest Industrial is currently accepting resumes for the Electrical Pneumatic Technician position. As an E&P Tech you will work as part of a team to develop and install electric and pneumatic components.  Tasks completed include, but are not limited to, building electrical panel, stringing wire and hose, installing electrical safeties, pneumatic valves and the alike. Previous experience is desired, however, Quest is willing to invest in training top-notch individuals. Candidates must be able to read basic electrical schematics prior to employment, as well as, safely operate mechanical tools.

    o A general understanding of automation — this would include, but not be limited to: high-speed assembly machinery, SCADA / Gantry / Six-Axis Robotics, PLC programming and general automation technology.

Responsibilities

An Automation Service Engineer at Quest will repair and adjust electrical components controlling mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. You will have the opportunity to solve problems with industrial controls including PLC’s, high voltage AC and DC, motors, drives, and unique equipment. With Quest you will be able to help develop new products and troubleshoot issues with existing equipment.

  • Experience with modern field wiring practices including NEC/NFPA in addition to conduit and cable management for industrial equipment
  • Organization skills for proper shop management including but not limited to: sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining building and equipment
  • Certified welder is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Basic robotic programming experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and customer oriented environment

Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • BS or AS in mechanical engineering/mechanical design/industrial automation or comparable program. Will also consider individuals with 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Experience in machine design and mechanical design considerations involved with robotics
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • CAD skills including Autodesk Inventor and/or Solidworks
  • Working knowledge of various fabrication methods including, basic machining, welding. Candidate does not need to be proficient in these skills, but must be aware of limitations and considerations these processes impose on mechanical design.

 Job Description

Our company is a growing Robotic Integration and Automation firm with an emphasis in Food, Plastics and Metals.  Quest Industrial embraces a family-like atmosphere in which creative thinking is welcomed and dedication is needed.  Quest is currently seeking a self-starter whom is willing to learn and can work under minimal supervision The Logistics Specialist (LS) would be responsible for the component tracking and organization of the projects.  This would entail working with engineers to make sure that the master tracking document is complete and up to date, as well as, checking in inventory and making sure that they are kitted and prepped for use.  He or she would be responsible for tracking and transporting parts from one vendor to the next and making sure that the parts arrival is on time as per the project time line.

In addition; the LS will be responsible for the creation of project spare parts lists and equipment manuals.  Additional duties would include: assisting with inventory management, oversee general shop organization and help assemble and test equipment when needed.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Higher level education a plus
  • Previous office experience preferred but entry level applicants will be considered

 Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with MS Office Suite and QuickBooks
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Savvy internet and technical skills required, including use of e-mails, group messaging and data research and collection.
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Sound work ethic for a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain integrity of confidential information
